80% shooting of Vetaikaran over

Director Babu Shivan said that 80% of the shooting of Vetaikaran is over. This film has Vijay and Anushka in the lead roles. Vijay is donning the role of a youth from village and Anushka dons the role of a software engineer. The director says that the film is to be released on Deepavali day and only the climax scene has to be shot. A huge set has been erected at AVM Studios and the climax scene is being shot there.
