The acclaimed musician, who scored 2008's 'Slumdog Millionaire', has announced dates for the 'Jai Ho Concert: The Journey Home World Tour', which will feature music from the film and tracks he was working on with Michael Jackson before the 'King of Pop' died last summer, Contactmusic reported.
Oscar winning music maestro A.R. Rahman will reportedly take his 'Jai Ho' concert worldwide, starting on June 11 in New York (USA) and ending in London (UK) on July 26.
During this period, he will have live concerts in USA, Canada, Netherlands, France, Norway, and UK, covering the cities of New York, Atlantic City, Washington DC, Chicago, Detroit, Toronto, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, Houston, Amsterdam, Paris, Oslo, Glasgow, Manchester and London.
More concerts of this world tour will be announced soon. Well-known choreographer-director Amy Tinkham, who has worked on the concerts of Paul McCartney, Madonna, Britney Spears, Dixie Chicks and Motley Crue, will reportedly be associated with Rahman’s concerts. Jai Ho!
