Pandhaya Kozhi starring Narain and Pooja did well in Malayalam, you hear. The film takes a Tamil form as both are popular faces here. ‘Bose’ Venkat has done a significant role, and Lal and Geetha are the other known names. But to give the film a definite Tamil flavour, the unit is re-shooting some of the scenes and adding on new actors — Nizhalgal Ravi, for example. The lead pair will also shoot for a day or two for Tamil. “Pooja is expecting a lot from the film. It’s quite a while since she’s had a Tamil release. Her performance in Pandhaya Kozhi will be a proper precursor to her much-awaited Naan Kadavul. Also, for Narain, a release before Pookadai Ravi would be ideal,” an insider notes.
