Is Nayantara jinxed?

With Salute also tottering at the BO, Nayanthara is turning out to be a jinxed actress in Telugu. Earlier her much-hyped Kathanayakudu also bombed belying her hopes of scoring a blockbuster with Rajnikanth. The dusky girl would have realised the flip side of hyped movies going awry to leave her career high and dry. Though she can’t be blamed for the bad scripts but her choice of roles warrant criticism. In both the films, her task was ill-defined facilitating makers to voyeuristically pan camera all over her sculpted body. She can be excused in Kathanayakudu since it was only a cameo but her pivotal role in Salute goes in vain. The crime reporter exposes one petty official and stalks hero for the remaining part. With her charm intact, she just needs a meaty role to bounce back.
